Taco, Burrito...

A few weeks back I took the kids out to CA to visit family. We stayed at my sister's house. She has two older girls and then two younger boys. One boy is just older than LBR and the other is just younger than Muffin. So, one evening her youngest spilled water all over himself. My sister took his clothes off so she could change them out for dry ones. Well, in the process her son decided to take his diaper off too. LBR saw him and said "Ahhh, I see a little burrito!".

Dinner Prayer

LBR's dinner prayer goes something like this:

  • Dear Heavenly Father
  • Welcome for da' food
  • Welcome that had nice day
  • I'm saying the prayer (yelled at Muffin)
  • Welcome that
  • Be quiet it's my turn (yelled at Muffin)

So cute, welcome instead of thank you.

New Job

I have recently started a new job with Jacobsen Const. The project I am on is the new Mall downtown. It's a huge project with tons of cool features, like a retractable roof (skylight). Right now it's just a big hole covering two city blocks but if you check out the following link you can see a virtual tour of what it will be. http://www.downtownrising.com/city_creek/

Catch Up Time

Pumpkin Patch (this year Muffin did not cry however, she still would not pose for pictures either)
Ok, so I finally got pictures downloaded from the last 2 months. These were from This is the Place State Park. They had a pre-Halloween trick or treat event. The kids went around the park and got treats, made crafts, and participated in activities. They dipped candles, went on pony rides, hay ride, train rides, and even made their way through a small corn maze. We had a great time!

Why???

Sharon just sent me an email with a Bingo card to take with you while shopping at Wal-mart. It's spaces were full of all the interesting things you might, and frequently do, see while shopping there. It reminded me of something I saw at Sam's Club once. I saw a woman with finger nails the same length as the height of the counter at the pharmacy. She was standing there talking to the pharmacy tech and her nails were literally grazing the ground. It looked like she was also aspiring to great lengths (literally) with her toe nails. I just don't understand why??? Of course I immediately began to think of all the things she would have to depend on others to help her with. I'll give you just a minute to mull that over....... Yeah, some things I hope I will never need help with and if I do I'd better be so far gone that I don't know that I'm getting help with them.
